The Kewaksum A's picked up a 17-0 win (in 7 innings) over the Rock River League's newest member, the Juneau County Seaters on Sunday afternoon.  The A's looked sluggish in last week's opener against Rubicon, but were sharp in Sunday's contest right from the start.  Kewaskum plated six runs in the top of the 1st and went on to score in every inning.  Austin Sarauer, Jake Panzer, and Brad Young collected RBI singles in the 1st, while Adam Sarauer and Alex Nuelk each had walks that brought in a run.  Jason Strobel kept the momentum going into the 2nd inning as he blasted a three-run homer to put the A's up 9-0.  Kurt Zagzebski put an exclamation point on the day in the 6th as he connected on his first home run of the season.

Four Kewaskum pitchers combined for the shutout as they allowed just one hit. Jim Ziegler (4IP, 6K's) picked up the win, while Tate Schill, Jake Panzer and Brad Young all threw an inning of scoreless relief.  Austin Sarauer 4x6 (2 2B, 3 RBI's), Jake Panzer 3x5 (2B, 2 RBI's) and Jason Strobel 2x4 (HR, 4 RBI's) led the A's 17 hit attack.

The A's have a busy week ahead as they host the Neosho Rockets Wednesday night in West Bend and on Friday travel to Appleton for a non-league game.  The week concludes with a Rock River League game on Sunday at Hartford (1:30pm).
